Second day in a row! It's my record!

Today at the theater practice we really got in to work. Our director had decided our cast.

And you know what? For the first time ever I'm really excited to play my role! I'm going to be The Basket Case/Goth!

Yes, it's a role, with two roles knitted together. Other character is based on The Basket Case in The Breakfast Club and the other one is just a stereotypical goth girl.

That part is just what I desired! It's worth it to tell the director which part you prefer.

Also my girlfriend got the part she desired. She is now The Criminal! And she's good with that part! Really!

The title of my blog today is what it is, because of good old pirate...stuff that takes it's place in my heart. Also, I started to read Vampirates -the book series' second book. My gaypartner almost forced me to read it after she finished it herself. So, after all the resisiting by me, I started to read it.

And it's good.

Tänään teatteriharjoituksissa todella pääsimme töihin. Ohjaaja oli tehnyt roolitukset.
Ja arvatkaa mitä? Ensimmäistä kertaa elämässäni olen oikeasti innoissani hahmostani! Pääsen näyttelemään Hullua/Goottia!
Kyllä, kyseessä on rooli, johon on yhdistetty kaksi roolia näyttelijöiden puutteen takia. Toinen roolihahmo perustuu The Breakfast Club:in Hulluun (The Basket Case) ja toinen hahmo on stereotyyppinen goottityttö.

Rooli oli se, mitä toivoinkin. Kannattaa siis kertoa ohjaajalle, mistä roolista nauttisi!
Myös tyttöystäväni sai toivomansa roolin. Hänestä tuli Kovis (elokuvassa The Criminal). Ja hän vetää sen oikeasti todella hyvin! Jeij!

Blogitekstini nimi ajaa juurensa sydämessäni sykkivään merirosvouteen. Lisäksi, aloin tänään lukemaan Vampiraatit -kirjasarjan toista osaa. Homokumppanini lähestulkoon pakotti minut aloittamaan sen luettuaan sen ensin itse. Vastusteluista huolimatta siis suostuin.
Ja se on hyvä.

Der Guten Tag Hop-Clop (english)

Good evening - and sorry.
I'm very lazy with this blog.

Even though there have been weeks since my latest text, I desided to continue my incredible story. So, you know my current theater projects. Now I have one new thing: musical dance course. I have been there for four times now, with my girlfriend.
And it's incredible! For now we have learned dances from West Side Story ("I Feel Pretty"), Let's Make Love (Marilyn Monroe! "My Heart Belongs To Daddy"), Singin' In The Rain ("Singin' In The Rain") ja Chicago ("All That Jazz"). It's sweaty and hard, but I lllove it.

("Der Guten Tag Hop-Clop" is from musical called The Producers. We watched it today, because our dance teacher told we may dance that number.)

I'm a real musical person. I love them so much and I'm dreaming that someday I could act in one.
I was in my high school's Aladdin musical (it was...very...special) with no singing part and in children's musical Mörköooppera (as Laivarotta - Boat Rat), but they aren't like musicals on Broadway or London. Not at all!

Also, we may finally get in the business on Iltatähti, tomorrow. Our script is ready and director has hopefully at least thought about our casting. Our scriptwriter was inspired by the movie The Breakfast Club, so our play is based on it. By the way, it's a great movie! You should watch it!

(If you like comedy, The Producers is a great choice too. Really. Try it!)

Otherwise my life is going on normally. Our new puppy Iines (FUN FACT! Iines Ankka is the finnish version of Daisy Duck) is very active and she has very sharp teeth.
My driving school is going on well. I have even been on three driving lessons!

The week before last week my girlfriend had birthday. I made her dinner outside with candles, music, blankets and non-working telescope (we both love space!). And as a gift maniac I had bought/made her nine gifts.

Last week we had a liveroleplay. It was about time after an apocalypse and our group of survivors had found a bunker where we had stayed for almost three years. It was very interesting - specially at the end, when zombievirus catched us too!
(I'm also a zombie freak.)

But yeah, I'm trying to write more often for now!

Olen harvinaisen laiska pitämään blogia.

Vaikka viikkoja edellisestä tekstistäni onkin, ajattelin jatkaa huikeaa tarinaani. Tiedättekin jo, millaisissa teatteriprojekteissa olen tällä hetkellä. Lisänä minulle on tullut uusi tapaus: nimittäin musikaalitanssikurssi. Olen ollut siellä tyttöystäväni kanssa nyt neljä kertaa.
Se on huikeaa! Takana on tanssi West Side Storysta ("I Feel Pretty"), Let's Make Lovesta (Marilyn Monroeta! "My Heart Belongs To Daddy"), Singin' In The Rainista ("Singin' In The Rain") ja Chicagosta ("All That Jazz"). Se on hikistä ja se ottaa voimille, mutta nautin siitä täysin rinnoin.

("Der Guten Tag Hop-Clop" - mikä on tämän blogikirjoituksen nimenä - on musikaalista The Producers. Katsoimme sen tänään, ihan vain varmuuden vuoksi tanssikurssia varten. Ohjaajamme nimittäin vihjasi, että saatamme tanssia kyseisen tanssin hänen versionaan jollain kerralla.)

Olen todella musikaali-ihminen. Rakastan niitä yli kaiken ja unelmoin vielä jonain päivänä näytteleväni sellaisessa.
Olin minä lukioni Aladdin-musikaalissa (mikä oli.....omalaatuinen) ilman lauluroolia ja lastenmusikaali Mörköoopperassa (Laivarottana), mutta eivät ne ole mitään Broadwayn tai Lontoon spektaakkeleihin verrattuna. Eivät todellakaan!

Lisäksi, Iltatähdellä saatamme päästä huomenna maanantaina vihdoin töihin. Käsikirjoituksemme on valmis ja ohjaaja on toivon mukaan jo miettinyt roolituksia. Käsikirjoittajaamme innoitti vahvasti The Breakfast Club-elokuva, joten näytelmämme pohjautuu siihen. Se kannattaa muuten katsoa!

(Komedian ystäville The Producerskin on loistava valinta. Ihan tosi. Kannattaa uskaltautua katsomaan sekin.)

Muuten elämässä menee aika normaalisti. Uusi koiranpentumme Iines on erittäin aktiivinen ja terävähampainen. Autokoulussa sujuu hyvin. Olen ollut jopa kolmella ajotunnilla!

Toissaviikolla, syyslomalla, oli tyttöystäväni syntymäpäivä. Järjestin hänelle illallisen takapihallamme, kynttilöiden, musiikin, vilttien ja ei-toimivan kaukoputken kanssa (rakastamme molemmat avaruutta!). Lahjahulluna olin myös hommannut hänelle vajaat kymmenen lahjaa.
Viime viikolla meillä oli larppi (liveroolipeli). Se kertoi ajasta maailmanlopun jälkeen ja selviytyjäryhmämme oli sulkeutunut bunkkeriin. Se oli hyvin kiinnostavaa - etenkin loppua kohden, kun maailman tuhonnut zombievirus levisi meihinkin!
(Olen myös zombiefriikki.)

Yritän kirjoittaa tästä lähtien vähän useammin!
